This includes books, essays, articles, copy, and other documents of varying kinds.

 

NOTE: these editing services do not offer fact checking, or source verification for information included in your document.

Basic Edit (correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors only) - £10 per page.

​

Heavy Edit (correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, flow and structure of sentences and paragraphs to ensure each page of the document is presented in an optimal way) - £20 per page.

​

Substantive Edit (correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and ensuring that the flow and structure of the entire document is consistent in tone and presentation of information, from start to finish) - £60 per page.

This service is limited to non-fiction works such as books, essays, articles, copy, and other documents available on request.

 

It does not cover novels, and only covers certain categories of non-fiction books, including autobiographies. Any books or documents that require specialist knowledge in certain fields, or extensive research and source referencing, are also not covered by this service.

NOTE: some projects may incur additional charges, based on the nature of the work. E.g. certain book projects where travel may be required for consultation, or information exchange etc.

For consultations I offer advice and guidance on things such as overall document structure, formatting, use of language, how to most effectively convey what your document is supposed to communicate, and more.

For some consultations, you may simply want to tell me about your work, and ask questions, and receive feedback based on what you have explained. However, if I am required to read all, or part of your work before a consultation, this will incur additional fees.

​

Consultations can take place over the phone, or in person, but meeting in person may incur additional fees for travel.
